Greg Hart cut his literary teeth reading mostly science fiction and some fantasy with Ian M Banks, Martha Wells and Anne Lechie being amongst his favourites. Born and raised in South Africa he lived through the miraculously peaceful transition of his home country from Apartheid to democracy. After completing a Bachelor’s degree he obtained a Law degree and practiced as a State Prosecutor before going into the commercial sector. Greg has wide range of interests from being a keen sailor to having built and raced a Lotus 7 replica sports car.

His first foray into story telling was aimed at entertaining his, then, teenage children and was written in instalments. The “serialised” story was read out loud. Success with this, admittedly biased, audience led to the Recalibration books.
